ORGANIZATIONAL CHART

The Department at divisional level is controlled by Director, Sheep Husbandry Department. The monitoring of Government Farms and Extension/ Field agencies is done by Joint Director Farms/ Extension respectively. The departmental programmes are implemented and monitored at District level by the District Sheep Husbandry Officers, at block level by Block Veterinary Officers and at Sheep Extension centres by Flock Supervisors/ Stock Assistant and Shepherds. The working is on single window system and facilities are provided at door steps of sheep and goat farmers. The Assistant Project Officers look after the migratory population falling under their jurisdiction.
